The following was created to provide an index of weapons more detailed and accurate than any previously available for ConX, researched through a wide range of sources. These are the weapons most often employed by agents of Aegis, along with others they might commonly encounter around the world. Please send me any comments, suggestions, questions, or good info concerning this area.
Many of the firearms listed have ammunition capacities listed over 10 rounds, however, it is no longer legal to sell these types of magazines to US civillians, (plenty of pre-bans are floating around though). Most of these weapons can also carry an additional round in the chamber, allowing the stated ammo capacity to be increased by one. Point blank range has been eliminated from sniper rifles, to make it possible to miss at short range. Also remember, that while some weapons have ranges in excess of 1000 meters, a shooter can only hit a target he can see, (commonly within 300 meters). The extreme ranges listed for many weapons are also sometimes not the longest a shooter can theoretically hit with them, but are a representation of these weapons accuracies, so give the players a break if the target is just out of range.
